“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 KJV
We all sat around the meeting table. The owner, another co-worker, and myself. “I’m sorry, but we can no longer afford to continue paying you.” And within moments, I was awoken from my dream. I remember awakening with an unusual feeling of peace. Instantly, I knew what was to come, and I had complete faith that everything would be ok. Why? Because God said so.
Within a few days, that dream became a reality. However, even in what seemed to be a time of uncertainty, God still kept me. Sometimes things change suddenly, and it takes you out of your comfort zone. You may feel very uncomfortable and weak, not being able to see those things which are to come, but remember that as believers we walk by faith and not by sight. Do not be afraid. Instead, have faith and put your complete trust in God and allow Him to lead you. He will not lead you wrong. Nor will he ever leave you or forsake you. Meaning that he won’t abandon you, or give up on you. Regardless of how you feel or what may be going on around you or the situation you are going through, God is always with you. As a matter of fact, he is with you right now. Find peace in that and maintain your faith.
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Joshua 1:9 KJV
